The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) is offering a PhD fellowship under the exciting FUSION project.
This opportunity is perfect for researchers passionate about physicochemical characterization of materials and water.
The fellowship is hosted by the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (ICE-HT) located in Patras, Greece.
This project supports the PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) initiative.
Its main aim is to minimize food loss and waste while improving food security across the Mediterranean region.

Through FUSION project, students will advanced research on materials and water analysis under the ..
Work with plasma technology and advanced tools like TGA, XPS, and BET.
Collaborate within a vibrant, international, and interdisciplinary research team.
Contribute toward sustainable solutions for food security in the Mediterranean.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Hold a BSc in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
Havae a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Registered PhD candidate in a recognized institution.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with plasma technology and physicochemical analysis techniques.
Be fluent in Greek and have at least B2 level English proficiency.
This fellowship is open to international students who meet all the above conditions.
