About the Fellowship
Established in 2004, the Fuller Fellowship honors Dr. William P. Fuller, a former president of The Asia Foundation. This program is designated for professionals dedicated to peace, security, and conflict resolution at the community and national levels.
The fellowship targets ranging early to mid-career individuals who demonstrate leadership in peacebuilding, advocacy, policy reform, and innovative conflict response.
What the Fellowship Offers
Fellows selected for the William P Fuller Fellowship 2025 program will receive:
A fully funded U.S. study tour from October 13–24, 2025, covering San Francisco, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Access to virtual learning through The Asia Foundation’s Peace & Stability and Leadership Exchange programs.

Who Can Apply
The fellowship is open to citizens from these countries and regions:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Be 40 years old or younger (born after October 13, 1985)
Be a citizen of one of the eligible countries
Have at least three years of professional experience in peacebuilding or related fields
Demonstrate strong leadership potential and commitment to community-level change
Be fluent in spoken and written English
Be able to attend the entire October 13–24, 2025 U.S. program
Be eligible to obtain a U.S. visa
